Just about everyone knows who Georgia O’Keeffe was and many are very familiar with her iconic style and work, however this exhibition is truly special. Bringing the lesser-known works of O’Keeffe’s art to Denver, it includes 53 beautiful features. The exhibition chronicles her work created specifically in New Mexico and focused on the Hispanic and Native American architecture, culture and landscapes. Included in the exhibit are 15 rarely seen photos of Hopi Katsinam figures, which were used to teach children about the power Katsinam possessed to bring rain and control the weather.
