Armed Crime Spree Suspects Arrested After Approaching Cars On I-70
" JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) РA wild crime spree that included three carjackings ended in Jefferson County Wednesday afternoon after an armed man and a female accomplice were arrested on Interstate 70.

The sheriff’s department said a deputy¬†fired a weapon, and it was unclear Wednesday night if the suspects had.

Copter4 was flying over the scene of a man on foot toting a rifle.

Officers were responding to a carjacking when the suspects got out of the stolen truck and fled with weapons south of Lookout Mountain.

At one point, the two suspects separated. The man looked for a way to escape pursuing officers and at one point tried to drive away in a Colorado Department of Transportation plow. The man couldn’t find the keys and then walked into a nearby home.

A few moments after the man entered the home Copter4 caught video of an SUV breaking through a garage door and then the suspect started driving through a field toward I-70 and got stuck in a ditch "
