New Plea Deal Considered In Raymond Davis Assault Case
" CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - A new plea agreement is being considered in the Raymond Davis assault case.

Davis is the CIA contractor who was held in Pakistan two years ago after shooting two men to death. He was later arrested in Highlands Ranch and charged with felony assault in a fight over a parking space.

Davis is to appear in court Monday although it may not be resolved by then.

CBS4 Investigator Rick Sallinger obtained tapes of discussions between the attorney for the alleged victim, Jeff Maes and the district attorney’s office.

Maes’ attorney maintains on a tape that the CIA was attempting to get the charges against Davis reduced. Davis may be given the chance to plead no contest to reduced charges of misdemeanor assault.
