Voters Who Answered Citizenship Check Get Thanks
" DENVER (AP) — Colorado registered voters who received letters questioning their citizenship are getting follow-up letters thanking them for responding and letting them know their status is verified.

The letters went to 3,903 registered voters in August in a contentious effort by Republican Secretary of State Scott Gessler to find illegally registered non-citizens on the state’s voter roll. Gessler says a federal immigration database found that 141 voters on the list are not citizens — about .004 percent of the state’s nearly 3.5 million voters "
